Job Description

Controller

ABOUT THE COMPANY

  • Our client is a top-tier Venture Capital firm with a varied client portfolio that includes SaaS based and Media companies
  • The Controller will be reporting into the CEO, and would have two direct reports!
  • The firm is located in Midtown NYC with access to a lot of train lines; May need to go into office every once in a blue moon, however, the role will operate remotely!!

OVERVIEW OF THE CONTROLLER ROLE:

  • Month end and quarterly closes
  • Overseeing AP, AR, payroll, some tax filing,
  • Communicating with partners, and overseeing two junior accountants!
  • Assist in getting caught up to current date as far as closes go!

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE CONTROLLER

  • CPA
  • Hands on accounting experience; day to day and strategic
  • Supervisory experience is a huge plus!
  • Experience with NetSuite is a plus!
