Job Title: Government Contract Personnel Security Specialist - Adjudications (FPS Contract)

Responsibilities:
  • Reviews, evaluates, and adjudicates reports of investigation, personnel files, and other records
  • Take appropriate action to address areas of concern and to manage case through to completion of entire process
  • Coordinate with staff and persons internal and external to the agency to carry out the security activities
  • Utilize advance communication skills
  • Research personnel security information using advance technology as applicable
  • Analyze data, and apply law, regulation, policy, and procedures commensurate with established requirements and with fair concern for equality and detail
  • Reviews and compares personnel security vetting forms in the intake process for completeness, accuracy, and request additional information.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum three (3) years of directly related experience performing administrative support in personnel security functions.
  • Shall demonstrate a proficiency in various types of information technology applications, such as Microsoft Office, including MS Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Written and oral communications skills commensurate with position.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of personnel security administration, proven experience in rendering adjudicative decisions OR recommendations.
