Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Location: Springfield, OH 

Our customer is hiring a Maintenance Tech, they are a leading producer in the food production industry and are dedicated to delivering high-quality products/services. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Job Description: As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of our manufacturing equipment and systems. Your expertise in maintaining and repairing PLCs, pneumatic systems, conveyor systems, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems will be crucial to our success. Additionally, you will be tasked with maintaining and repairing boilers, as well as setting up and operating various tools to make and repair parts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair PLCs, pneumatic systems, conveyor systems, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on boilers.
• Set up and operate drill presses, grinders, welders, and other tools to fabricate and repair parts.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure efficient workflow and minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance, engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment 5-10 years. 
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, pneumatic systems, conveyor systems, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience with boiler maintenance and repair.
• Proficiency in using drill presses, grinders, welders, and other fabrication tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
